Every printable from the studio is a normal PDF, so it works with any home printer — no special software needed. Here's how to get the best results.
1. Download and open the PDF
Click the Download free PDF button on any pack. Open the file on your computer, tablet or phone, then choose Print. Grab a fresh batch of free coloring pages if you'd like something to test with.
2. Choose your paper size
Our pages are made for standard US Letter and also print perfectly on A4. If your printer asks, pick "Fit to page" or "Scale to fit" so nothing gets cut off at the edges.
3. Black & white is just fine
Coloring pages are black-line drawings, so you don't need color ink at all — set your printer to black and white (grayscale) to save color cartridges. Covers look nice in color but are totally optional to print.
4. Paper choice
Regular printer paper is great for crayons and colored pencils. If your child loves markers or paint, try slightly thicker paper (you can buy inexpensive "card stock") so colors don't soak through.
5. Make them last
Because everything is a download, you can print a favorite page as many times as you like. For fact cards and journals, you can laminate them or pop them in a clear sleeve so they survive lots of little hands.
Having trouble?
If a page prints too small or gets cut off, check that scaling is set to "Fit to page" and margins are set to "Default" or "None." That fixes almost everything. Still stuck? It's usually a printer setting rather than the file — try printing any other PDF the same way to compare.
